Pennsylvania's most historic limestone cavern    Est. 1929

Natures Darkroom

For amateur and professional photographers alike, the 1 hour tour of World Famous Indian Caverns just isn't enough time to frame and capture the beauty inside the cave.  We are excited to be able to say that in the Summer 2011 we opened up the cave after hours on a few select days for avid photographers to spend 3 hours inside the cave with their arsenal of equipment.  Along with a professional photographer and cave expert, we were thrilled to give you the chance to experience and capture the cave as few others get to enjoy.

The 3 hour tour includes a brief seminar on "do's and don'ts" of cave photography, tips for f-stop use and lighting techniques as well as access to parts of the cave not normally covered during a regular tour.  Photographers work at their own pace, on the subjects that they choose and can leave the cave at any time to use the restroom or warm up (it's a constant 56 degrees in the cave)

We are excited to offer this opportunity and will make it one of the most pleasant photographic opportunities available.

Spaces are limited.  Please call 1-814-632-7578 to reserve.  Limited to 12 spots per session.  $20 per person.

There were 3 sessions this year and, because of the high demand, we may add another in late Semptember.  Please check back.
